Description

This little group of galaxies in Leo is located about 30 million light years from Earth. It contains the two galaxies M65 and M66 and the odd shaped NGC3628. To the lower right in this image is another little galaxy; NGC3593. I think they form a nice quartet together in this image. I read that NGC3593 is sometimes considered as the 4:th member of the triplet!?

This image is made out of over 200 short (30s) exposures made with my Sony A7S mirror-less camera through my 10 cm refractor telescope in April 2021. I used the average of 7 dark frames taken just after the other images to reduce the fixed-pattern noise. I should probably have used more, but they cleaned up the image good.
